Get your hands on this beautiful, rich in variation, large and solid, hand made bowl. This bowl is 'crazed' (it looks like shattered glass in place). Sometimes that is considered a flaw in pottery. In this case, it is by design with the glazes used. What that means, however, is that this bowl is not suitable for 'wet food'. It would be perfectly fine to use it for fruit with a peel, chips, or any other kind of 'dry goods', or, of course, anything non food related. This bowl has beautiful colors, reminiscent of gemstones like labradorite and smoky quartz, opal and amethyst. There are shades of amber, turquoise and purple, that play with the main body color. The outside has a matte eggshell wash.
