This painting was inspired by a photo taken by Joe Eckert. He was super gracious in allowing me to use it as a reference for this painting. Living in the Pacific Northwest, you get spoiled by views of mountains everywhere and lush greenery. The spring is an exceptional time of year here... we come out of the winter wet, and burst into incredible geography and color. There is so much inspiration everywhere!
