Oh! It's Snow! is one of my first landscape paintings done in acrylic paint on an Ampersand panel. Oh! It's snow! is an original acrylic painting, created on a gesso board panel and framed in a simple floater frame. The frame is intentionally left untreated so that you can paint or stain it to match your own decor, or move it to a different frame entirely, if that is your wish. This painting gets it's title from my son, the truth teller. When I painted this, and felt like I was nearing completion, I asked him to bring his fresh eyes and tell me what it needed and what I was missing. He obliged and thought it was 'great'. The next day, I was reworking a few things (always dangerous as the line between done and overworked comes fast for me) and I had the reference photo open. He came in the room and exclaimed, "Oh! It's snow? I thought it was a river". So, for the record, it's snow.
10" x 13" - image itself is 9" x 12" with a .5" border on all sides.
