Well this one will have a narrow audience, but that camp specific audience will 'get it'. This is for the Tanamakooners in the crowd. This line is from one of the songs that we would sing after dinner in the dining hall. When I saw this color, the color of our camp uniforms, it begged to be a 'camp mug'. If there in enough interest, I will make more in this series.
This mug is thrown and trimmed on the wheel. I then add a handmade handle, which is both pinched and pulled, before coating each in underglaze and hand carving a message onto the mug. It then gets bisque fired, and then glaze fired.
